Yes, I know I'm supposed to be decorating, but taking a little time out to get some painting
done.

The bust is from Life Miniatures and to me is a must have.

At this point I've been working on the flesh tones, and added a base coat to the helmet.

I think at this point you must have a Book of " The secret color formulas" Lol

Just a small update.
First of all, while removing a small section of the helmet strap from the sprue, I had a mishap.. it broke into 3 pieces.
It wasn't going to stick together, so I had to think of a way to make a replacement.
I mentioned my plight to NRG, who came up with a solution, and sent me some foil that would be suitable.
So a very BIG thank you to NRG for his help.

Eager to keep the painting going I decided to make a start on TFB's Continental...... yikes 2 figures on the go at once. :woot:
I'll be started a thread on him shortly.
In between working on both pieces, I painted the leather helmet lining, and the helmet itself.
After careful consideration, I decided to attach some of the foil to a section of the resin strap that fitted to the helmet.
Once I managed to fit in place, ( bit of a fiddly job.) I let it set, then to built up the thickness, I added some magic-sculpt.

I'll post a photo of the replacement strap when I've finished painting it.
