Don, about as long as it took all you Jocks to start blame the English again :shifty:

Not blaming the English Steve , we fekin bottled it all those bum fek farmers in Stirlingshire turned traitor as usual :D they have the bloody cheek to have Wallace's monument and a Statue of the Bruce in there constituency ,along with Edinburgh stirling castle was always quick to throw in the towel ,the Bruce should have burnt it to the ground as he did with all the east coast ones :D

 I thought you were agin Independence Ron ? Or is just you being a puckish rogue ? :sneaky: Oh and As for Wallace and Bruce! Yeah, right. Historical Scots figures actually betrayed by factions of their 'own' people. :troll:

Helm Never blamed an Englishman for anything, lived with far to many,
I do however detest Westminster MPs of all types. I am sure you can see the difference.

Sad to hear Big Eck standing down in November, twenty years in politics he is not entiely new.
Just getting out before the roof caves in on the Westminster bun fight. Seems Cameron has little intrest in English people as well as Scots!

Don

Just banter Don as far as I am concerned it was the best result for us I honestly think an independent Scotland would have fared badly in todays world, nothing to do with the people but the sheer impracticability of it when the policy of SNP seemed to be based on it'll be alright on the night

Helm never ever blamed an Englishman for anything unless it was about work. Worked with and enjoyed the company of too many for that.

Sad to see Alex Salmond has quit and will stand down in November. 20 years in Politics, not a bad innings for a good politician!

As an outsider i´ve always saw Scotland as a country as it is, being part of UK, Scotland should have from today more influence and autonomy from London to solve the issues which may result from the outcome of last night.
All the best for the land of the brave and proud, land of the free.

Cheers,
Pedro.

That I am Steve :D Footnote One thing about Napoleons Marshals they were always quick to join the winning side :)

No you couldn't :D

I was going to suggest this thread closes but in view of the Renege and the Resignation it might still be a bit interesting

You can tell Ron didn't go to Euro he's the only sober Scot PF member apart from Don who had a note from his mam :D

Apparantly the UN were policing the elections

We all have morons Ron not just you I'm afraid, hope it doesn't get nasty mate

Actually my best memory of my last visit to Scotland, (before going 'Tit's-up'), was at the 'Salmon Lie', pub in Killin! and the 'Falls of Dochart', outside of it! It was one of the very few pubs that I felt truly comfortable in! 7 days, there, and then moved further North!
Maybe I remember this because of the huge range of 'Malts' on offer, and the fact that my wife's hair caught fire in the bar at 1am.:D
