Ron you really have to get a grip on your desire to show Glasgow as full of election supporters
trying to kill each other! Seems a main topic since the election.
George Square in Glasgow had a few hundred ordinary people gathered to hear and perhaps celebrate rhe results. Police reported the skirmish started with a No supported throwing an object! Police used officers and their good old horses to end the disturbance. Horses are kept near my house by the way. There were SIX arrests in a country almost split in two by this election. How many across the UK will be arrested today at football grounds while Enjoying themselves!
The election went very well overall and despite a few minor scuffles nothing cataclismic happened! Now just watch todays football and see the crime reports across the UK. I believe Glasgow police did not even use riot gear or ballistic shields to quell Rons riot despite them being stored not so far away, where they are mostly used for training various police forces.
Time to get a grip Ron.

You Only seen what was reported Don , what I saw was people being threatened intimidated girls being pushed to the ground and kicked ,red hand of ulster flags and bigoted slogans all around , this was on a friends mobile which he put on his front page ,he is a tartan army football supporter ; not from glasgow and was shocked at the violence , he's a big lad and no shrinking violet either.
I don't know how to put video stuff from facebook onto the forum or I would have shown it .

I am a Yes supporter and Brian a No supporter, strangely enough we are still friends. Spoke to him yesterday down at Folkestone where he is collecting some figures for me. Had a couple of txt this morning when I made sure he was up. He will get my figures today and I will have them around monday/tuesday. Does that sound like we have a problem. Davie Mitchell and Del are with him and I just never got round to asking them about their leanings, not my affair.
However according to some we should be rolling in the streets.

You got it right at the end Ron. It was an ELECTION. One side won and one side lost, such is the way of elections! isnt it strange that based on the results Westminster is now at war within its self.
Not my original post Ron but I saw the TV footage and have seen some other stuff, nothing very exciting, not even repeated on any news channel and lets face it that would have made the whole world watch,
Nothing compared to what the poor people of london had to suffer only a few years ago. I do mean Poor not in a financial way but in a distressed way.

For Christ sake chaps, any chance of giving it a miss,the people have spoken and that's the end of it.No doubt if the vote had went the other way there would be folk moaning on this forum just the same but i for one, would not be one of them.If anybody thinks that i'm a traitor or being a lackey to the British government i would be very offended.
What's done is done.You can go on about it all you want, but i would strongly suggest you get a life,and live it as well as you can ,what's left of it.
