Managed to make some more progress this morning. The trousers have been completed as well as detailing the stitches on the patches.
The bell around the bottom of his legs were coated in DarkStar Baroque and the given a wash in Burnt Umber (oils)
I've also made a start on the gaiter's and pre shaded the strapping in his feet.

Going to say I agree there , interesting your painting down the piece

The candle and flesh looks great ......your doing the piece and the sculptor a full credit

Liking the spotty handkerchief in the pocket
