Without pics it didn't happen :)
So next year can we delete posts, such as " Not long now only 365 days away" "Who's going" "Roll call" "How to get to" " Something with SWMBO in it" " She asked me if I was going to buy anything LOL" " I wish this show was in Australia as it wouldn't be raining and we could see the sun" " Have you packed your panties" "Who's bringing their Teddy Bear" " Look at this bridge" " Who's ready for a drink" " Where am I" " Who wants to sleep in my room" " Who has been in my bed"" Where are my pants" "How did this happen I don't even know you" "If I were you I wouldn't tell anyone" "But I was really drunk" "I thought she was a woman" " I think my drink was spiked" and.............. "Doctor is it treatable" :):)
And the list goes on :ROFLMAO:
And at home " Honey my phone went flat as soon as I got there" and " Honey I lost my wallet and all my money was in it" While quickly hiding show stash in the boot of car or man cave when she heads off to the shops

I've just got home from Euro, sadly I don't bother taking photos anymore,I hav'nt done so for the last 2 years, for me it's too much hassle,I enjoyed the whole weekend, very enjoyable and catching up with friends.
Competition entry numbers I think we're down this year, however as always some top class pieces on show.
The Best if Show was won with a fantasy piece this year, however I'm uncertain of the title.
I'm sure someone will oblige with some photo's soon

Posted on the Figure Painter Magazine FB page a few hours ago. Congratulations goes to Micheal Kontraros for best in show at Euro with Atonement. Picture by Adrian Smith.

Well my sensible spending went all to pot in day 2. I blew through my remaining budget very quickly and made a start on spending Mrs E's housekeeping money so it's 19p beans in the Campbell house for the next 2 months ;)

I ended up coming away with another 2 figures, a tank (no really) and another airbrush to go with the other two I already have (well, it was cheap(ish))

It was a great show and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend although it felt a lot quieter than last year. The competition was great,as always, with some unbelievably good work on show, very inspirational. All my photos are on my wife's phone, if I get time I'll get them uploaded tomorrow after work.

To whom attended Euro, I have some questions.
I attended 2012 and it was a great experience for me. I haven't attended since then so I don't know much about these few years.
I read some people taking about bad things about Euro on Facebook, such as "Euro is not same as before" "Euro has changed" something like that.
I want to hear straightforward opinion about it and recent reputation of Euro.

From the picture above, the Best of Show looks a stunner. I'd be interested to discover how the book effect itself was done. Hopefully, we shall see a future article somewhere from Mr. Kontraros. Well done to everyone who entered the competitions, and I look forward to seeing pictures soon!

Dear boy,
A supplementary postal order is on its way via the London to Dover coach. If you run, you could catch it on the coast road. Beware of footpads, believed to proliferate in those parts.......
Enjoy yourself,
Alan

Postal Order intercepted On the Old Dover Rd, Thankyou this enabled the purchase of another two busts and some brass tubing. Oh and lunch.
All in all a great weekend.
Mick

I have only missed two Euro's in the last 30 years and I have to say that I believe the show is in decline. I thought the whole place had a rather subdued feel about it and their was no buzz.
The show its self appeared down in numbers attending plenty of room to move about on both days and the competition room was noticibly down on entries. Some traders did not make their table costs which remains very high. And will not be returning next year at least as traders.
The atmosphere in the hotel bars was very quiet,I was in the Southcliffe & Clifton's bars on the Saturday night & again so quiet not the usual buzz.
In my opinion I feel the show has gone stale & not moved with the times and is just a venture for the organisers.
Of course much has changed since Euro began with a lot more choices of quality shows around the world that was not their before. Madrid been just before Euro & Eindhoven in a couple of weeks. (This was the show a lot of people tip to be the one to go to)
The internet of course has had a major impact as people don't need to go to a show to buy or even see the new releases.
Travel is cheaper to the continent for many rather than Folkestone & of course the European people don't want the hassle of going through Calais.
It was still great meeting people and putting faces & names together and I did have a great weekend with the gang.
I have decided to give Euro a miss next year and see where I go from here. Going to give Telford a go in November.
Peter.

very nice piece ... to scream, but I'm always reluctant to give a best of show you should give a best of class ... I do not think we should judge the same floor a diorama, a wagon and a soldier.
