I wish I had your skills 'cause your work is pretty fine. Hope you get your health issues sorted out and pronto!

Joe

Many thanks Joe, that's made my day, health issues will resolve one way or the other, I just crack on regardless and often regret it the next day, but no point in letting stuff like that spoil life, make the most of it.

Cheers Simon

This is quite likely to be my last post on this thread for a short while. We are having the conservatory insulated next week and have been slowly emptying it. My desk unfortunately is due to become storage space for a while. Also got my Granddaughter for the next 3 days, workmen in on Thursday and off to watch Kris Barras in Southampton on Friday. That would be a good end to a hectic week but the weekend will see me at Peppa Pig World, groan.

Anyway enough of that, I have touched up the uniform blue highlights, almost finished the luggage including the cooking pan attached and started his jaunty little hat. Also made a start on the trumpet and rifle and completed his base but no piccies of them.

All in all I'm quite pleased considering how little time I have had to paint, stoopied life getting in the way!

Looking good. have a good week.

W.

Cheers W, will be a good one, well apart from Peppa Pig World.

Just one last post warning of the problems of getting a larger work surface on a modelling bench.

My cats are creatures of habit and when they discover a new hidden, warm and comfy roost they stick to it for weeks. And I have 3 cats so I suppose they'll all take turns, really is nothing sacred?

I must be lucky, my cat never jumps on my workbench, but sits on the window sill and watch me paint.

Malc

Malc, Nigel and Melanie, the cat is a sweetheart, well apart from with her two kittens (about 8 years old), which she beats up and ambushes at the cat flap. I can't sit in my armchair without 2 of the 3 taking residence on my chest.

Yes that is a 3D printer, I have had it since christmas before last and still haven't used it. I am going to bite the bullet soon though and get some resin, mostly if I can print swords, rifles and heads I'll be happy, maybe small bases as well.

Cheers Melanie, I'm happier with this than many that went before, I think the larger scale is better for me than 1/35th.

Can't wait to get back to my desk, having withdrawal symptoms. The eye is amusing, watching people seeing it and struggling whether to ask about it or not!

In my house it's the cats who have staff not the other way around, arrogant little buggers but I wouldn't be without them.

Got plenty to post very soon and new projects to start.

Cheers Simon
