Undercoat is on over the primer so just going to leave it a day before daubbing coloured paint all over it.

Been away for both health and job troubles I come back here and ... what a nice figure Simon!
You might consider to try 1/24th scale (70 to 75 mm), I find it ... great and allows a lot of those details we like so much!

Hope all is sorted health wise, always a worry as none of us are getting any younger!

Thanks for your kind comments, I am rather pleased with him. As for scale, I am also working on Historex base figures at the mo and finding that much more comfortable. I like the larger ones but not sure I want to try and sculpt to 75mm just yet, give me time and I'll see what I can do.

This is really good. I hope you're doing better today?

Cheers, yeah bit sore today we had a trip to Hayling Island with the Granddaughter yesterday, on the way back it was only me and the dog awake, which is fortunate as I was driving. It's getting painful sitting at my desk but only when I try to get up, so might have to stay here longer!

The first paint has been laid on. The face may need more work but don't want to go too dark, the starting to build the dark blue/indigo of the uniform. So still loads to do.

Cheers Kev, hopefully I'll keep the entertainment going. The spot on the back of the neck is actually the hanging tassle from his headdress which will be yellow so I'm trying hard to keep the dark paint off of it.
